In the case of socially prescribed perfectionists when they aimed at performance -avoidance goal, they showed more academic procrastination. When they aimed at performance-approach goal, however, they showed less academic procrastination. That is, socially prescribed perfectionists showed different degrees of academic procrastination according to subtype of achievement goal. Finally, the clinical implications and several limitations of the present study were discussed.
